Life Of Dillon - Overload
Bemusterungs-Details
Beschreibung
“Dillon’s got no home, no destination, he's not chasing dreams, he's living them. He's a free spirit who travels the world, surfing, kicking back and enjoying what life has to offer.” London based David Keiffer founded Life of Dillon with childhood friends Joe Griffith and his brother Robert Griffith in 2014. After crossing paths with a stranger named Dillon while in Brazil (the Griffith brothers’ birthplace), the trio began writing and recording songs built on bright melodies, propulsive beats, and warm acoustic guitar riffs with the free spirit of the globe-traveling drifter who inspired both their music and their name. No better example of this spirit than “Overload”, the first musical installment in Life of Dillon’s burgeoning career. With its massive beats, lush acoustic strumming and soaring, soulful vocals, lead single brilliantly channels the thrill of breaking free from 9-to-5 living. The track is already creating a wave of excitement in the US as we get ready to impact the Pop and HAC panels on February 16 with over 40 stations expected to add the track on its first week. The single was made available to all DSPs on January 27 in advance of radio servicing and has already racked up over 500,000 plays on Spotify with no airplay or promo whatsoever. To help setup the track, the band started posting a series of teaser clips in Instagram showcasing short acoustic clips of the song as we build towards the official video premiere in early March. This will be followed by a full rollout of tools, including publicity shots, banner adds as well as viral video pieces in the coming weeks. International markets are encouraged to start seeding this track and pseudo video in your socials and playlists, we are not yet actively working this single at radio outside the US but we would love to hear your feedback on the track and its possibilities in your markets. An MMX of the track will be resent shortly. “Overload” will be followed by a 5 track EP titled Prologue, to be released on April 14, and a full album in the fall, through Disruptor / Epic / Sony Music WW. All songs on the EP were written, performed, and produced entirely by the trio in the north London house were have lived together for the past 2 years. Expect additional EP tracks to be premiered in the coming weeks as “Overload” continues to evolve at radio, full rollout plan and timeline coming soon.
