MAUSI announce new single “My Friend Has A Swimming Pool” and confirm debut album for late 2014. MAUSI’s unique blend of Riviera-pop and velvety disco has already earned them a wealth of praise from key tastemakers across the music industry. As summertime edges ever closer the four-piece prep their most ambitious single to date and confirm work on a debut album, scheduled for release later this year. Half English, half Italian brother-sister duo Daisy & Thomas Finetto met Ben Brown and Benji Huntrods whilst at university in Newcastle and formed Mausi after an inspirational summer hanging out in Milan and embracing a blissful European lifestyle. Drenched in uplifting happiness, “My Friend Has A Swimming Pool” couples the band’s trademark nu-disco synths and sky-wards melodies together with infectious piano keys and an effervescent vocal performance from front-woman Daisy. Produced by Mark Ralph (Hot Natured, Clean Bandit, Hot Chip, Jagwar Ma), “My Friend Has A Swimming Pool” oozes effortless cool and stand out pop sensibility in the same moment.
